Essential Surgical Skills

The Essential Surgical Skills course introduces core principles and practical techniques for safe surgical care through five modules: Surgical Fundamentals, Respiratory Emergencies & Anesthesia, Gastrointestinal & Genitourinary Emergencies, Obstetric Emergencies, and Orthopedic Emergencies & Traumatology. With a focus on hands-on learning using simulators, guided instruction, and peer collaboration, the course offers a supportive environment. Pre- and post-tests, lectures, quizzes, and case studies build confidence and competence to manage surgical emergencies effectively.
