FIRST for Clinical Officers

The FIRST for Clinical Officers course is designed to strengthen the capacity of Clinical Officers in providing safe, effective, and timely surgical and obstetrical care. Through modules on patient risk management, wound and surgical skills, obstetrics, anesthesia, orthopedics, and basic surgery, participants gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience. Emphasis is placed on life-saving interventions, complication management, and teamwork, ensuring Clinical Officers are well-prepared to deliver essential surgical and emergency care in resource-limited settings.
